The HOMARK Company, Inc. operates a factory
in Red Lake Falls, Minnesota. Located at the eastern edge of the
fertile Red River Valley, the town is located on several hills, at the
confluence of the Clearwater and Red Lake rivers.
The factory was purchased in February 1991, by 46 employees
after many years of private ownership. These employees signed personal
commitments to make the purchase, and give them control of all facets
of the business of building Manufactured Homes.
One of the earliest commitments was to build the best
quality home possible while remaining competitive in the market place.
Since that time, the factory has grown substantially in its production
capacity and its work force. Being employee-owned, all personnel
at HOMARK have the opportunity to buy stock in the company, and many have
done just that. They are very proud of the products they build,
and want everyone to know that the HOMARK Home you've purchased was "BUILT
WITH PRIDE" by the company owners. |
| EMPLOYEES
"TOTAL COMMITMENT TO QUALITY"
Being an employee owned company, we implemented a "Total
Commitment to Quality" program in 1994. This program gives today's home
buyer the assurance that is necessary in all links to our customer.
We start with a very simple but responsible philosophy of quality with
our employees at HOMARK. If the material is not equal to their workmanship,
they may reject the material involved. Along with this policy we have
full time quality control personnel inspecting each home. |

MATERIAL VENDORS
"TOTAL COMMITMENT TO QUALITY"
Our vendors that supply our materials must respond with
their quality control program that provides standards set by our employees.
If materials are rejected, they are required to respond on specific answers
to our materials manager on what their findings are. If the problem
is not resolved by our vendor, we then search out a new supplier that
will provide our quality expectations. |
| DEALER/DEVELOPER
"TOTAL COMMITMENT TO QUALITY"
Our dealer/developers are committed to our vital link in
areas that assure the performance of our home when completed. Our professional
retailers are in partnership with HOMARK in all aspects of purchasing
and set-up of our homes.
Starting with the pre-qualification on finance applications and developing
payments that fit within the budget of today's buyer. Once this step
is completed, a guideline has been defined to start the procedures of
floor plan selection and options that are desired to provide the buyer
with our quality home. The retail representative will then make a site
visit to advise what must be done to provide a quality set-up of your
new home. The representative will also assist you in arranging
and advising you on the type of foundation or support your new home
will need.
Once your new home is completed and set, a walk through with the home
buyer and dealer/developer is conducted. Any required corrections are
noted at that time.
HOMARK's "Total
Commitment to Quality" goes beyond the employees to involve
all material vendors and dealer-developers by providing a one year warranty
to our homeowners.
